It's late. Should sleep. Must blog.

I adore Wilfred and Delphine. Wilfred needs to update their damn website, and Delphine needs to freaking get one. :stubborn: (damn, cB smileys don't work here)

I finally went to the gym today. 45 minutes of rowing/Stairmaster'ing does nothing; will do more next time. Or maybe I should join the ultimate frisbee team... hmm...

I miss netball.

"And you've just been filled in"

God, I hate the snow. Just as all of it was about to disappear, another shitload comes our way. What do you have against green??! And you are keeping me from doing my #3 - I can't just stay home and DDR in compensation to not being able to go to the gym!! COME ON!

Speaking of my Resolutions, I'm adding something else onto the list:
Read at least one of the news articles that pop up in my iGoogle every day. Seriously. I have no idea what is going on in our world, and it's a bit pathetic. I mean, sure I watch sxephil on YouTube and get "philled" in each day, but pretty much all his stories are stupid unimportant stuff like what YouTube is allowing commenters to do these days. It's about time I get to the hardcore news... like what the Canadian government is doing with the budget.

It is so boring.

If you seek Amy...

Here.

Any thoughts on the song? Personally, I think it's got a horrible melody and think it is kind of bad for the little kiddies to hear... but come on! You've got to admit it's pretty flipping clever. And I couldn't help but laugh whilst reading the lyrics. Good stuff, Britney, good stuff.

Also, I was being a good Canadian citizen and watching "Being Erica" on CBC today and they made a BS reference. I found it hilarious.

And that is all.

Resolutions '09

Sure, I may be a little late on this, but what the hell!

In order of importance:
  1. Stop encouraging the BS. Gotta keep all contact to a bare minimum.
  2. Study harder. I've got to bump up my GPA so I can get that scholarship!!
  3. Help around the house more. It's not just my parents' responsibility.
  4. Exercise at least twice a week. For obvious reasons lol.
  5. Cut down on TV. And do more #2 instead!
  6. Socialize more at school. I need to stop being so shy.
  7. Find another job. I've got to replace 8 Rinks soon!
I'll try to keep 'you all' posted on my progress every now and then. It'll give me an excuse/reason to post more. And maybe I'll add more to the list... you know, short- and long-term goals. =]

goonieman86

YouTube's goonieman86 is a god. Everyone who has spent any time with me knows that I LOVE Disney songs, so it's no surprise that I adore Nick Pitera's covers of songs like "A Whole New World" and "Part of Your World". The guy's voice is absolutely amazing; if you close your eyes, you can totally see a girl singing the girl parts. It helps that he has a very animated face; he looks like a real-life Disney Hercules. Or something. It's crazy.

The thing that bugs me though is the fact that he sings a LOT of girl songs. There are so many videos of him covering Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Leona Lewis, etc., and in every single one of them he sings in his fake girl voice. It's weird and a bit creepy. I mean, he still sounds fantastic, but I just wish he'd sing with his own voice. I don't know. It just kind of gives me the heebie jeebies.

Anyway, that's pretty much it. Check out his YouTube here and his MySpace here. =]

(I just watched his cover for David Archuleta's "Crush", and he is much much better at singing girl songs. Oh well, his cover for Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" was awesome so I still love him either way.)
